Confucius Institute Scholarship Benefits

Eligibility Criteria for Confucius Institute Scholarship
Applicants must fulfill the following requirements:
- Must be a non-Chinese citizen
- Applicants should be physically and mentally healthy
- Age should generally be between 16 and 35 years
- Chinese language teachers may apply up to 45 years of age
- Undergraduate scholarship applicants must be under 20 years old
- Must provide valid HSK/HSKK or BCT language proficiency scores according to the selected program
- Applicants for MTCSOL must hold an undergraduate degree
- Applicants for BTCSOL or language programs must have completed high school studies
- Recommendation letters are required for degree programs

- Medical examination form (if required)
- Proof of graduation or enrollment status
- Certified translations of documents (if not in English or Chinese)
Application Process for Confucius Institute Scholarship
- Visit the official Confucius Institute Scholarship application portal
- Complete the online application form carefully
- Upload all required scanned documents in the system
- Select up to two preferred Chinese universities offering the scholarship
- Submit valid HSK/HSKK or other required language test scores
- Prepare a short motivation letter explaining your study goals
- Submit recommendation letters if required for your selected program
- After online submission, provide hard copies of documents to the nearest Confucius Institute, Chinese embassy, or authorized educational institution
- Wait for the scholarship result announcement
