Eligibility Criteria of Funded TechWomen Exchange Program in USA 2025

  • Citizenship or permanent residency in specific countries is required, including Albania, Algeria, Cameroon, Egypt, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palestinian Territories, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, or Zimbabwe.
  • Eligibility to obtain a U.S. J-1 exchange visitor visa is necessary.
  • Applicants must not have applied for a U.S. immigrant visa (except Diversity Immigrant Visa) in the past five years.
    • Applicants cannot be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
  • Applicants must be in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
  • At least two years of full-time professional experience in STEM fields is required.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is necessary.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
