- Fellowship award of € 16.242,96 gross per year (about 12% tax).
- Grant on a one-time settlement allowance of € 500.00 (if they are domiciled in a country belonging to the European Union, and € 1,000.00 if they are domiciled in non-European countries.)
- Facility of living expenses of the amount of €150,00 gross per month.
- Award of A “laptop contribution” up to € 400,00 (upon request)

- After choosing PhD program, fill out the form available on portal and make sure to submit before 13:00 (Italian time).
- Make sure to upload all required documents in pdf format.
- Now, you have to sign the print out application form you get after submission.
- Upload the signed document at application portal.
- Provide the two referees with their institutional email addresses.
- Referee will receive an automated email where they have to provide recommendation letter.
- Make sure to complete this step within 2 days after the application deadline.
- Students will get notification of interview date and time by SISSA.
- Students have to make sure toshow the same ID document (during interview) uploaded with your application
- In case of written exam, you must have: Two cameras: one on yourself (e.g., laptop), one on your screen (e.g., phone)
- Unstable internet will cause disqualification from interview.
- Finalized students will receive an email.
- Applicants have to make sure to present at SISSA by October 1, 2025.
- Applicants can confirm their spot and receive the fellowship, pay a Regional Tax (€120–€160/year) via ARDiS.
