Fellowship by Climate Change Media Partnership (CCMP) in Baku 2024 is open now. The Climate Change Media Partnership (CCMP) is offering a Reporting Fellowship Program for journalists from low and middle-income countries, as well as the Balkans, Baltics, Eastern Europe, Caucasus, and Central Asia, to cover the 2024 UN Climate Change Conference (COP29) in Baku, Azerbaijan, from November 11-22.
This opportunity will support 20 journalists to attend and report on the conference in person. Since its inception, CCMP has enabled over 500 journalists to attend and report on the annual UN climate talks, promoting diverse perspectives and coverage of this critical global issue.

Eligibility Criteria for Fellowship by Climate Change Media Partnership (CCMP) in Baku 2024
- Have a good command of the English language.
- Share an up-to-date resume/CV.
- Be able to travel and arrive in Baku, Azerbaijan on November 9 and depart no earlier than November 24, 2024.
- Be working in any medium (online, print, television, radio) as a journalist or reporter.
- Be affiliated with any type of media organization (international, national, local, or community-based), including freelance reporters and staff.
- Provide recent, relevant, and journalistic work samples on climate change topics (freelancers welcome to apply).
- Be a professional journalist or represent an established media house from low and middle-income countries, as defined by the World Bank (view the full list of eligible countries).
