Eligibility Criteria for the ARICE Scholarship 2025 in Romania
- Applicants of all nationalities are eligible for the scholarship, except those from the EU.
- Applicants from non-EU and non-EFTA countries will be given priority.
- Applicants holding Romanian citizenship are not eligible.
- Applicants who have applied for protection status in Romania are not eligible.
- Applicants with a long-term residence permit in Romania are not eligible.
Duration of the Scholarship
- Bachelor’s Degree: 3 to 6 years
- Master’s Degree: 1.5 to 2 years
- Postgraduate/Residency Programs: 3 to 6 years
- Doctoral Degree: 3 to 5 years
Please note: Scholarships do not apply to programs in dental medicine, stomatology, or pharmacy.

Scholarship Decision Process and Acceptance Details for ARICE
- The Ministry of Education and Research makes the final decisions on scholarships.
- Results will be published on the ARICE website.
- Successful applicants will receive results via email.
- Letters of Acceptance and Enrollment Orders will be issued by the Ministry.
- These documents will be provided before the start of the 2025-2026 academic year.
- Applicants will be notified well in advance of the academic year.
