This program offers a unique opportunity for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students to gain hands-on experience at a prominent international laboratory. Every year, DESY invites approximately 100 students worldwide to participate in an 8-week program conducting research in physics, computing, engineering, or related disciplines. The program will occur from July 22nd to September 11th, 2025, at DESY laboratories in Hamburg or Zeuthen (near Berlin).

Eligibility Criteria of Funded Summer Program in Germany 2025
- Enrolled Master’s students can apply.
- No previous participation in DESY summer student program.
- Final-year undergraduate or first-year Master’s student by summer 2025.
- Completed at least 3 years of undergraduate studies in:
- Physics
- Related natural science disciplines
- Computing
- Master’s degree holders or those completed by summer 2025 are not eligible.
