- Develop and apply state-of-the-art ML methods (deep learning, reinforcement learning, imitation learning, etc.) to these challenges; scale them to Google-sized data pipelines; and streamline them to operate in real-time on the automobiles.
- Work with other groups, such as the ML infrastructure, simulation, and systems engineering teams, as well as researchers from places like Waymo research, Google Brain, DeepMind, and academia.
- Present your research at scholarly meetings and publish the results in respected publications.
